Fish (Except Tuna)

This fish canning recipes works for any species of fish except for tuna. Tuna should only be canned using the recipe found below this one.

Yield: Depends on how much fish is used

Cooking Time: 1 hour 55 minutes

Fish

Pint-sized jars

Instructions:

1: Clean the fish thoroughly as you normally would. Cut into small strips or filet. You can leave the bones in or take them out, depending on your preference.

2: Position the fish in the jars, making sure the skin of the fish is facing outward. Secure the lid on the jars.

3: Set weighted gauge at 10 pounds per pressure or the dial gauge at 11 pounds. Cook for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
